Somewhere Bluebirds Fly

Dedicated to Club Q and the victims of the anti-LGBT-motivated mass shooting that took place in November 2022.

I wrote this piece in memory of the victims of the Club Q shooting. Premiered by the Pikes Peak Flute Choir and performed at NFA in 2023 by the LGBTQ Flute Choir, it has been a favorite of many groups. "Somewhere Bluebirds Fly" received an Honorable Mention in the 2024 NFA Newly Published Music Competition.
